Job summary

Real Staffing Group is seeking an Engineer specializing in Supplier Development Quality for a 100% onsite contract in Atlanta, GA. You will drive improvements in supplier quality, develop acceptance criteria, and support introduction of new components.

Responsibilities include monitoring supplier performance, leading corrective actions, generating inspection procedures, and assisting Design Engineering on new materials and testing. Medical device experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering with 3–6 years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year as a supplier quality engineer.
• Medical device experience strongly preferred.
• Willingness to relocate at own expense; relocation preferred for rapid start.

Responsibilities

• Assess potential new suppliers for technical, quality and manufacturing capabilities.
• Develop acceptance criteria for materials and monitor supplier performance.
• Drive corrective actions for manufacturing yields and field failures.
• Generate incoming inspection procedures and train inspectors.
• Support component selection with quality and reliability analysis and review designs.
• Issue qualification test reports and approve components for use in products.
