Job summary

Hydrogen Group seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier and receiving inspection during development, transfer, and launch of new aortic transcatheter valve devices. The role requires collaboration, data analysis, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have CAD experience, ability to read blueprints, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 0–2 years of experience. This is a 12-month initial contract in Irvine, CA with standard office hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Experience with engineering applications and software, such as CAD.

Responsibilities

• Develop component inspection methods and plans, validate test methods, assess component capability, and validate supplier processes.
• Interpret drawings, diagrams, and formulas; collaborate to set quality and reliability standards.
• Support drawing reviews to ensure inspection design-for-excellence considerations are included.
• Complete component qualification documentation and route for approval.
• Support receiving inspection and component inspections for milestone builds.
• Manage investigations and risk-based escalation of nonconformance issues.
• Support transfer of receiving inspection processes to other sites.
