Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer II to manage supplier quality performance and drive corrective actions to meet aerospace standards. You will audit suppliers, resolve quality issues, and support new product introductions with qualified suppliers on-site.

The role requires a technical degree, 2+ years in supplier quality or related quality roles in aerospace/manufacturing, and proficiency with FMEA, SPC, APQP, and ERP systems, including AS9100

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or related quality roles within aerospace or manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, supplier audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes.
  • Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and APQP, and experience using supplier quality software and ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and industry regulatory requirements.

As a Supplier Quality Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for managing and improving the quality of products and materials supplied by external vendors to ensure they meet Honeywell’s rigorous aerospace standards. You will work closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions to support production and engineering teams.

You will report directly to our Defense Quality Manager and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an On-site work schedule.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in supplier quality engineering or related quality roles within aerospace or manufacturing industries
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, supplier audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes
  • Proficiency with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and APQP, and experience using supplier quality software and ERP systems
  • Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and industry regulatory requirements

  • Advanced degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering preferred)
  • Experience working with global suppliers and managing complex supply chains
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and continuous improvement practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and influence supplier performance
