Job summary

DENSO Manufacturing Athens Tennessee, Inc. seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier-related quality issues and ensure defect-free mass production. You will support cross-functional teams and monitor supplier processes to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires technical engineering education, 3+ years in quality with suppliers, and familiarity with automotive quality systems (IATF/TS16949). On-site in Athens, TN with up to 20% travel. Salary range: $73,000-$91,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; or combination with quality experience.
• Experience in manufacturing quality roles with suppliers preferred.
• Strong communication, both verbal and written.
• Up to 20% travel; ability to travel for on-site investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage supplier quality issues, including defect handling and investigations.
• Oversee supplier change-point management and quality plans.
• Develop action plans to address quality concerns with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct Genba investigations to resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve QMS and compliance with ISO/IATF standards.
• Review supplier documentation and ensure adherence to DENSO quality standards.
