Job summary

Lincoln Industries is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to verify supplier capability and drive improvements in quality standards. The role collaborates with the Global Supply Chain to perform supplier assessments, audits, and scorecards to monitor performance and drive corrective actions.

The SQE will address root causes, corrective actions, and cost reduction, serving as the primary liaison to suppliers for quality issue resolution. Strong GD&T and Minitab expertise are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university.
• Non-Engineering Bachelors degree AND 5+ years in Manufacturing AND 1+ years in Quality AND ASQ certification.
• Reading engineering prints and GD&T knowledge.
• 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing field with at least 1 year in quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain communications about supplier quality issues with staff and suppliers.
• Develop good working relationships with Lincoln Industries suppliers.
• Utilize the Six Sigma Process to analyze supplier quality issues and drive improvements; coordinate actions.
• Conduct periodic supplier quality audits.
• Perform risk assessment and lead strategic risk mitigation projects.
• Coordinate engineering changes through the supply chain.
• Monitor supplier quality and manage reject/return/debit processes via Navision.
