Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (Product Engineer) for the Anode commodity to own supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems. You will drive qualification, process capability, risk reduction, and continuous improvement while supporting new product introductions and supplier transfers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, or a closely related discipline; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, supplier engineering, quality engineering, materials engineering.
• Strong understanding of metals processing and manufacturing technologies.
• Familiarity with technical drawings and material specifications.

The impact you’ll make

As a Supplier Quality Engineer (Product Engineer) supporting the Anode commodity, you will serve as the primary technical owner for supplier manufacturing processes, quality systems, and product conformance. You will drive supplier qualification, process capability, risk reduction, and continuous improvement efforts to ensure suppliers consistently meet Lam's requirements for quality, delivery, reliability, and cost. You will work closely with internal engineering teams and external suppliers to resolve complex metallurgical, manufacturing, and process-related challenges while supporting new product introductions, supplier transfers, capacity expansion, and long-term technology roadmaps.

Who we’re looking for

• Experience with GD&T, SPC, DOE, FMEA, Control Plans, 8D, RCCA, and statistical analysis techniques.
