Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversight and improvement of component and sub-assembly suppliers.

Job Description

This Supplier Quality Engineering position will have responsibility for oversight and improvement of a selected sub‑set of Opco's component and sub‑assembly suppliers. The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Preferred Experiences and Qualities

• Strong problem‑solving skills and familiarity with techniques such as 5 why's, 8D, pareto analysis, Design of Experiments, DMAIC, and others.
• Basic understanding of statistical tools and their application to manufacturing processes (ie, process capability studies, establishing process control limits, etc)
• Experience working in an ISO‑regulated manufacturing facility or ISO standards is a plus
• Training and experience in the use of GD&T
• Understanding of measurement methods
• Experienced with Oracle
