Job description

Seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure supplier components meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements. This role partners closely with engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing to drive supplier performance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Qualify and audit suppliers, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Lead APQP, PPAP, FAI, and related quality planning activities.
• Manage supplier corrective actions (8D, RCCA) and monitor performance metrics.
• Support part qualification, production ramp-up, and issue resolution.
• Maintain quality documentation—control plans, PFMEAs, SPC data, and scorecards.
• Collaborate with suppliers on design improvements and process controls.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Aerospace industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and root-cause analysis tools.
• Strong communication skills and experience with ISO 9001 or similar standards.
• CQE or related certification a plus.
