Job summary

Moog Space and Defense Group in Blacksburg, Virginia, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join the team onsite. You will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and help ensure supplier quality across the manufacturing floor, from audits to onboarding new suppliers.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing disciplines (or a two-year technical degree with 5 years of quality/machining experience), strong MS Office skills, and the ability to travel up

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing or a two-year technical degree with 5 years of quality/machining experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• Experience functioning in a team-based manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% annually sometimes with short notice (domestic travel and occasionally internationally).
• Preferred experience in identifying, evaluating and developing new suppliers.
• Preferred experience in resolving and improving quality, scheduling, and performance related issues.

Responsibilities

• Engaging with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join them. You will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Salary Range Transparency

Blacksburg, VA $60,000.00–$90,000.00 Annually
