Job summary

Teradyne in North Reading, MA, seeks an NPI Master Scheduler to lead cross-functional planning with Engineering and Operations, establishing and managing Electrical & Mechanical builds and material availability for new product releases.

You will close planning deliverables through design phase gates, communicate delivery commitments, and hand off to high-volume manufacturing, with a focus on meeting forecasted needs while managing risks and dependencies.

Qualifications

• BS in Business or equivalent degree.
• Minimum 3–5 years of planning experience in electrical/mechanical manufacturing.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent product programs and competing priorities.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills with stakeholders who don't report to this role.
• Analytical mindset with strong Excel skills (pivot tables, critical path analysis).
• Strong understanding of MRP (Oracle, SAP).

Responsibilities

• Close planning deliverables through engineering phase gates.
• Identify and escalate risks to closing planning deliverables.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to plan production at contract manufacturers or in-house.
• Provide internal delivery commitments based on lead times, capacity, and material readiness.
• Hand off product to high-volume manufacturing after readiness checks.

Opportunity overview

The Teradyne New Products team is looking for a highly motivated NPI Master Scheduler that will work cross-functionally with Engineering and Operations teams to establish and manage Electrical & Mechanical assembly builds and material shortages to meet our forecast. The Planner will work as part of a project team to close planning deliverables on time as projects move through design phase gates in preparation of the new product release.

• Member of project team responsible to close planning deliverables through the engineering phase gates
• Identify/escalate risks associated with closing planning deliverables
• Work with Engineering and Operations to generate, load and manage the production of both Electrical & Mechanical builds at a contract manufacturer or in-house
• Provide internal customer delivery commitments/updates on assemblies based on lead times, capacity and material readiness
• Successfully hand off product to high volume manufacturing

• BS in Business or equivalent degree, or equivalent experience

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is$79,500- 127,300.This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance
