Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
Form Energy in Weirton, WV is seeking a Supplier Operations Manager to own day-to-day with our critical suppliers. You’ll forecast capacity, confirm to-build, chase late parts, and diagnose the reasons parts are late, while based at the factory with travel to supplier sites as needed.
You’ll transform imperfect supplier data into clear, actionable insights for the team and learn from leaders who have scaled hardware at major tech companies.
Most people in supply chain wait five or six years before they’re trusted with a supplier that matters. This skips that.
Form Energy makes iron-air batteries that store renewable energy for 100 hours, for utilities and AI data centres. They’ve raised $750M, they’re a late stage startup on the path to IPO, and their factory in Weirton, West Virginia, about an hour from Pittsburgh, is ramping their next generation of product. Volumes are climbing and suppliers have to keep up.
As a Supplier Operations Manager you’ll own the day-to-day with some of Form’s most critical suppliers. Forecasts, capacity, clear-to-build, chasing late parts and fixing the reasons they’re late. Based at the factory, with up to half your time on supplier sites.
You’ll also be handed data that doesn’t add up. Supplier reports that don’t match, lead times that drift, forecasts that tell three different stories. The job is to make sense of it and turn it into something people can act on.
You’ll learn from leaders who’ve scaled hardware at Tesla, Meta and Google, in roles built as a path into senior and strategic sourcing.
This is for people who want to pursue supply chain. Tell us how you’ve shown it, whether that’s an internship, coursework, a certification or a project you took on yourself.
