Job summary

You will collaborate with Surface Tech and Quality teams to ensure clear engineering drawings and competitive supplier performance. This role requires 10–20 years in semiconductor or related field, a relevant engineering degree, strong communication and project experience, and willingness to travel 50%

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and influence skills with successful project experience in new product introductions or Lean projects.
  • Ability to support domestic travel >50%.
  • Experience with automation is a plus within semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated integrity and IP awareness when working with suppliers.
  • Knowledge of quality improvements and supplier corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates technical requirements of new and existing Best Know Method; collaborates with supplier to define cleaning solutions.
  • Coordinate with Surface Tech or Quality teams to ensure engineering drawing clarity and supplier understanding.
  • Lead supplier selection, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.
  • Train other supplier engineers on supplier audits and evaluation processes.
  • Support cost planning by monitoring key cost drivers and market conditions.

Learn more about our benefits.**Key Responsibilities*** Evaluates technical requirements of new and existing Best Know Method, work with supplier to define or recommend prats cleaning solution, which would result in savings, lead time reductions, system improvements, increased parts life and/or mitigated risk.* Work with Surface Tech or Quality teams to ensure the integrity and clarity of engineering drawing requirements, make sure all expectations are communicated effectively to supporting suppliers.* Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology.* Leads the supplier technical audit process and evaluates supplier performance and capability, drive continuous improvement opportunities at supplier. Training other supplier engineers on the supplier audit and evaluation process.* Participation with Quality team in quality problem resolutions and incident management, supervise supplier corrective and preventive action. Identifies and drives broad based systemic supplier resolutions at the process level.* Assist in cost planning by monitoring key cost drivers, supply markets, to ensure a competitive advantage.**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s / Master's Degree in chemistry, mechanical, materials etc. engineering disciplines* 10-20 years working experience in the semiconductor industry or parts manufacture/cleaning related field* Good communication skill, influence skill, successful project experience on new product introduction or Lean project or quality upgrade* Good integrity, strong IP awareness, protect Applied benefit when working in supplier site* Able to support significant domestic travel >50%* Knowledge and successful experience on automation, AI is nice to have.**Additional Information****Time Type:**Full time**Employee Type:**Assignee / Regular**Travel:**Yes, 50% of the Time**Relocation Eligible:**YesThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
