Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a seasoned professional to lead commodity strategies and manage supplier relationships. You will align with the PLC process to ensure strategy coherence and oversee supplier onboarding and disengagement within the supply base.

The role requires experience shaping supply chains to support quality, cost, delivery, and lead times. Travel up to 20% is expected; relocation is possible.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• 7–10 years of experience in relevant field.
• Strong understanding of supplier relationships and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Aligns and implements commodity strategies.
• Manages maintenance of supplier agreements and relationships.
• Engages with the PLC process to ensure alignment with commodity strategies.
• Engages new supplier introduction and/or disengagement within Applied Materials supply base.
• Supports resolution of systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead time.

Key Responsibilities

• Aligns and implements commodity strategies.
• Manages the maintenance of agreements with suppliers that provide the structure for all business relationships between Applied Materials and the supply base.
• Engages with the PLC process to ensure alignment with the commodity strategies.
• Engages new supplier introduction and/or disengagement requirements to/from the Applied Materials supply base.
• Support resolution to systemic supply chain issues affecting quality, cost, delivery or lead-time.
