Position will provide 2 to 3 shifts per week; some weekends as needed.
Schedule will be varied between day and evenings.
Day shift starts between 7:30 and 8 a.m. and Evening shift starts between 2:30 and 3 p.m.
This position will have clinical and operational responsibilities in multiple patient care areas including but not limited to transitions of care, internal medicine, neurology, surgery, trauma, and critical care.
Position is responsible for filling and labeling prescriptions, providing drug-related information to patients, hospital employees and medical staff, and supervising the activities of pharmacy technical support staff.
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Texas.
Pharmacy Sterile Product certification through an in-house program or other accredited program is required if incumbent compounds sterile products.
