Job summary

U.S. Courts in Springfield, Illinois seeks a Probation Officer. The role requires progressively responsible administrative, technical, professional, supervisory or managerial experience to lead a team and apply basic management concepts within the U.S.

Job description

Progressively responsible administrative, technical, professional, supervisory or managerial experience that provided an opportunity to gain (a) skill in developing the interpersonal work relationships needed to lead a team of employees, (b) the ability to exercise mature judgment, and (c) knowledge of the basic concepts, principles, and theories of management and the ability to understand the managerial policies applicable to the U.S. Probation Office and U.S. District Court.
