Job summary

Indian Health Service is seeking a Pharmacist Supervisor for the Four Corners Regional Health Center in Red Mesa, Arizona. The role supervises the Pharmacy Section, provides direct clinical services, and leads personnel management and program activities to advance the mission.

The position requires a Doctoral degree in Pharmacy, an active license, and ability to meet federal requirements. The candidate will support safety, compliance, and ongoing quality initiatives in outpatient pharmacy

Summary

This position is located in the Pharmacy Section, Four Corners Regional Health Center in Red Mesa, Arizona. The purpose of this position is to serve as the section's managerial supervisor; provide direct clinical pharmacy services; responsible for management and administration of personnel policies and procedures; and direct/manage programs and activities in a manner that ensures the mission and vision.

Background Investigation Requirement:

This position requires the successful completion of a federal background investigation as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying.

REQUIREMENT:

• A doctoral degree in Pharmacy that is recognized by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.
• AND possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
• AND applicants must be able to distinguish basic colors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
