  • Direct and supervise the work of paralegals and other support staff.
  • Use analytical and problem‑solving abilities by performing complex legal and factual research utilizing Relativity and other eDiscovery software.
  • Interact with staff and DOJ case teams during the planning and execution of project requirements, schedules and all litigation support activities.
  • Monitor work and report on progress of investigative and support tasks.
  • Ensure that staff and support team's work meet contract and attorney requirements and are delivered on time.
  • Troubleshoot and perform quality control spot-checks.
  • Formulate administrative and technical procedures to ensure work/tasks are completed.
  • Report to Project Supervisor or Project Manager; may also have significant contact with COR, Government Case Manager, trial attorneys and staff, client agency staff, and opposing counsel.
  • Design and develop systems and procedures for tracking, controlling, and managing case files, exhibits and other case‑specific materials.
  • Assist trial staff in coordination with expert witnesses and litigation consultants.
  • Arrange for access to appropriate DOJ libraries and other legal research facilities.
  • Coordinate with other contractor support staff components, including data processing support staff, in order to accomplish work.
Qualifications

Required:

  • At least three years of litigation paralegal experience in automated litigation support, or JD or currently attending an ABA‑accredited law school and having completed at least one year of study. An equivalent level of legal training or experience may be substituted.

  • Customer‑focused, congenial, professional, can‑do attitude for working with staff and government clients.

Desired:

  • Paralegal Certificate.
