United States Department of Defense is seeking an Inventory Specialist responsible for maintaining a perpetual inventory balance and ensuring product availability. The role requires meeting OPM qualifications for series 1101 and may involve using handheld terminals to collect data and manage ordering processes.
The position emphasizes accurate data entry, effective communication, and adherence to operational practices, with occasional overtime and no telework eligibility.
Primary purpose of this position is to maintain accurate perpetual inventory balance on hand (BOH) levels which in turns determines optimum ordering quantities and ensures product availability for patrons.
