Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in the Montana state office seeks leadership in civil and agricultural engineering programs. This role reports to the State Conservationist and directs engineering planning, design, construction, and related training for NRCS in the state.
Responsibilities include formulating standards and specifications, evaluating engineering work, and coordinating personnel placement and training to support NRCS engineering initiatives in Montana.
This position is located in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Farm Production and Conservation (FPAC) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), State Office and reports to the State Conservationist. Provides staff leadership in engineering programs of NRCS in the assigned state, including formulation of standards, specifications, engineering planning, design and construction; analyzes engineering work and training to recommend training and placement of engineering personnel.
