The Department of War, Office of Inspector General (DoW OIG) invites applications for a temporary, not-to-exceed-1-year auditing role within the Cyberspace Operations Directorate. The position requires senior level specialty in performance auditing and leads audit teams in line with DoD standards.
Basic qualifications include an auditing degree or related field, plus 4 years of performance auditing experience and professional certification options (CPA/CIA) or equivalent coursework.
This position is located within the Department of War, Office of Inspector General (DoW OIG), Office of the Deputy Inspector General for Audit. The Audit component conducts, monitors, and initiates audits relating to the programs and operations of the DoW. There is one position within the Cyberspace Operations (CSO) Directorate. This position is temporary, not to exceed 1 year.
For entry at the GS-15 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-14 or equivalent or higher grade, in the Federal Service.
Degree: auditing; or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, public administration or accounting.
OR Combination of education and experience: at least 4 years of experience in Performance Auditing, or an equivalent combination of performance auditing experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional auditing knowledge.
