Job Summary:

We’re looking to hire a hard-working Supervisor Janitor/Custodial for a location in the 38104 zip code PT 9pm-1am Sa-Su-Mon-Tue who can maintain the cleanliness and safety of our building. You’ll be responsible for all cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing restrooms, clearing trash from the parking lot, and emptying trash in addition to supervising a three to five person team. The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, experience with cleaning equipment and supplies, and takes pride in a job well done.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building
2. Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
3. Clean windows and supply the restrooms
4. Wipe up spills and other hazards
5. Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
6. Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs

Qualifications:

1. Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
2. Able to supervise a team of three to five
3. At least 0-1 year of experience in janitorial services
4. Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
5. Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
6. Excellent stamina and able to lift at least 25 lbs
7. Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
