Job summary

CableCom, LLC in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee incoming and outgoing inventory and supervise warehouse staff. You will ensure stock accuracy, coordinate with management and vendors, and maintain secure handling of materials.

Requirements include forklift certification, proficiency with inventory management systems, and the ability to work varied shifts. The wage range is $60,000–$70,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
  • Proficient with computer skills; database, Word and Excel.
  • Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
  • Able to pass a DOT physical exam with a valid medical card.
  • Must have experience operating a forklift.
  • Able to work in all temperatures and weather conditions.
  • Able to perform essential functions of the position for the full shift.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse staff
  • Build sound working relationships with management, office and construction staff, vendors, and customers.
  • Receive, inspect, store and secure all supplies and materials when delivered.
  • Set-up a stock issue and control system that will account for and track all materials used in our construction process.
  • Maintain all received inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
  • Assign and account for all materials issued to work crews on a daily basis.
  • Maintain a "shelf stock" of parts, tools and any other job required supplies.
  • Conduct a complete physical inventory each month that will account for all materials stored, received and issued from the warehouse and yard.
  • Maintain material usage logs/spreadsheets to comply with our customer’s usage and tracking systems.
  • Assist in the management, maintenance and upkeep of fleet tools and equipment assigned to the project.
  • Willingness to work shifts as assigned, including daily overtime when necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need
  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company

  • Able to perform the essential functions required in this position for the entire assigned shift.
Physical Abilities & Exposures
  • Routinely: Standing - 6 to 8 hours daily, Walking - 6 to 8 hours daily, Climbing - 1 to 2 hours daily, Bending/Twisting - 3 to 4 hours daily, Pushing/Pulling - 1 to 2 hours daily, Repetitive Motion (grasping, manipulation) - 1 to 2 hours daily, Lift & Carry (weights of 50 to 60 lbs.) - regularly / daily
  • Occasionally: Lift & Carry (weights of 50 to 60 lbs.) - regularly / daily
