Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in San Antonio, TX to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping, and maintain strict safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, forklift proficiency, and the ability to manage inventory, people, and processes in a fast-paced environment. Crawford offers extensive benefits as part of the Sonepar group.

Qualifications

• College degree with 2+ years related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Verify and package product for shipping with proper labeling.
• Operate PIT equipment: stand up, reach truck, order picker and sit-down forklift.
• Stage, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
• Maintain quality control; ensure no damaged products shipped or received.
• Complete daily PIT logs and keep work areas clean.

Responsibilities

• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards
• Verify and package product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Stage product for loading
• Unload materials from truck
• Move materials to warehouse for storage
• Responsible for quality control. No damaged product shipped; no damaged product received.
• Operate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT). Stand up, reach truck, order picker and sit-down propane forklift
• Complete daily logs for PIT
• Clean and maintain work areas
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• College degree with 2 years or more related experience and/or training
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
• PIT proficiency; reach truck, order picker, "sit down" propane. Current certification a plus
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small parts
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Environment

• Long and varied hours required occasionally
• Ability to work mandatory physical inventory
• Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environment
• Ability to work in dusty conditions
