Job summary

Baptist Health in Florida is seeking a supervisor for internal patient transportation at Baptist Hospital of Miami. You will provide direct supervision, guidance and leadership to patient transport staff to ensure efficient, safe, and compassionate service.

The role involves meeting regulatory and professional standards, coordinating responsive transportation, and supporting a mission-driven organization. Minimum one year of experience preferred; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of patient transportation experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, guidance and leadership to all patient transportation staff.
• Develop and maintain appropriate internal patient transportation services for Baptist Hospital of Miami.
• Ensure services meet regulatory and professional standards and are proactive and comprehensive.
• Coordinate transportation operations to support timely, safe, and compassionate patient care.

Description

To assist in the development and maintenance of appropriate internal patient transportation for Baptist Hospital of Miami. Provide direct supervision, guidance and leadership to all patient transportation staff to ensure organizational operations. Ensure that all services provided are comprehensive, proactive and appropriate to the needs of population served, while meeting all regulatory and professional standards. Estimated pay range for this position is $21.66 - $28.16 / hour depending on experience.

Licenses & Certifications

• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification.

Additional Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s degree preferred.
• One year of previous Patient Transportation experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing have good interpersonal skills to work with diverse populations in a fast-paced crisis-oriented environment.
