Fulton County Schools seeks a Transportation Supervisor to lead the Transportation Department operations. This role supervises bus operators and bus route activities, coordinates routing procedures, and ensures safety and compliance across routes.
The position also oversees driver training, accident investigations, and student safety education. The supervisor will travel to schools as needed, recruit and supervise staff, and collaborate with school leadership to maintain efficient transportation
Provides leadership and supervisory assistance in the overall direction and administration of the Transportation Department
Associate's Degree in A related field or equivalent experience (2 years of industry experience = 1 year of college) A combination of experience and education may be used to meet the AssociateâÂÂs Degree requirement or In lieu of degree, Supervisor certification earned through National Association for Pupil transportation (NAPT) may be considered
Valid CDL license with S and P endorsements required
Must be able to successfully pass State Bus Driver Annual Physical Exam
Minimum 2 years supervisory and/or administrative experience preferably in transportation, and 3 years of related pupil transportation experience required. Computerized routing experience is a plus
