DP World is seeking a Training Supervisor at the El Paso, TX location to own the end-to-end learning experience for team members, ensuring tasks are performed safely and independently. You will drive structured training plans and onboarding, aligning materials with current SOPs and maintaining trainer programs.

You will assess competency, identify gaps, and tie learning outcomes to safety, productivity, and quality KPIs, collaborating with Operations, Safety, and HR to improve programs.

Formación

• Experience in automotive or logistics quality environments.

About the Role

How you will contribute

Training Design & Delivery

• Develop and implement structured, role-based training plans for assigned pillars.
• Coordinate and deliver new-hire onboarding, orientation, and hands-on floor training.
• Develop work instructions, job aids, and instructional materials aligned to current SOPs.
• Maintain Train-the-Trainer programs; select, coach, and evaluate SMEs assigned as trainers.

Competency & Assessment

• Assess employees to verify they are competent to perform assigned tasks independently within assigned pillars.
• Identify skill and performance gaps and implement targeted development plans.
• Monitor training effectiveness using assessments, floor observations, leadership feedback, and operational performance data.
• Connect learning outcomes to safety, productivity, quality, and other operational KPIs.

Documentation & Compliance

• Track SOP compliance and escalation deviations.
• Maintain training matrices, certification records, and competency documentation.
• Keep training records accurate, current, and audit-ready at all times.

Partnership & Reporting

• Partner with Operations, Safety, and HR as an individual contributor — influencing without direct authority.
• Provide site leadership with regular updates on training progress, trainee status, competency levels, and areas requiring additional support.
• Identify gaps in the training program and recommend improvements
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• Experience working in an automotive or logistics environment working in a quality capacity.
• Above average interpersonal, organizational and communication skills - written and oral to deal with a wide range of customers-both internal and external.
• Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of people including DP World team members as well as all levels customer from managerial to hourly.
• Excellent trainer skills and abilities.
