Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC. is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee daily operations on telecommunications projects, providing leadership to foremen and crews. The role emphasizes organization of materials, equipment, and labor, with local work and occasional travel.

The ideal candidate will have previous utility construction crew leadership experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Excel and database software. CDL is a plus and DOT medical clearance may be required.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
  • Previous utility construction crew leadership experience required.
  • Experience with telecommunication MSA contracts strongly preferred.
  • Good computer skills with database software and Excel.
  • Experience with Google applications is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Local work with occasional travel.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.
  • DOT physical exam with valid medical card required.
  • Class A CDL license is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations on the project.
  • Ensure job completion of assigned projects.
  • Provide communication and leadership to Foremen and crews.
  • Organize materials, equipment, and labor.
  • Verify locates, materials, and billings.
  • Provide all required job reporting.
  • Complete as-builts and redlines.
  • Participate in safety, maintenance, production and personnel initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do
  • Supervise the day to day operations
  • Job completion of assigned projects
  • Provide communication and leadership to job Foremen and crew members
  • Organizing materials, equipment, and labor
  • Verifying locates, materials and billings
  • Providing all required job reporting
  • Completing as-builts and redlines
  • Actively participating in and taking responsibility for safety, maintenance, production and personnel related initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
