Job summary

TelCom Construction is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee day-to-day project operations, providing clear leadership to foremen and crews to ensure timely completion. This on-site role focuses on local work with occasional travel and strong safety practices, coordinating materials, equipment and labor to meet project goals.

Applicants should have prior utility construction crew leadership experience, proficiency with Excel and database software, and the ability to pass a DOT medical exam.

Qualifications

• Previous utility construction crew leadership experience is required.
• Experience with telecommunication MSA contracts is strongly preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and database software; familiarity with Google applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations.
• Job completion of assigned projects.
• Provide communication and leadership to job Foremen and crew members.
• Organizing materials, equipment, and labor.
• Verifying locates, materials and billings.
• Providing all required job reporting.
• Completing as-builts and redlines.
• Actively participating in and taking responsibility for safety, maintenance, production and personnel related initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise the day to day operations

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Previous utility construction crew leadership experience is required
• Experience working with telecommunication MSA contracts is strongly preferred
• This position also requires good computer skills specifically database software and Excel
• Prior experience working with google applications is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required
• Local work with occasional travel
• A valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
• Class A CDL license is a plus!
