Job summary

Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City is seeking a supervisor for clerical and scheduling staff in the surgery scheduling area. The role includes supervising, training, and evaluating staff and taking on short-term projects as assigned by the Manager or Director.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, with BS in IT or RN preferred, and at least 3 years of surgery scheduling experience; five+ years in scheduler or RN roles are a plus. Competency with Surgical Information Systems is desirable.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Preferred Education: BS in Information Technology or RN.
• Experience: At least 3 years of surgery scheduling experience.
• Preferred Experience: Five or more years of surgery experience as a scheduler or RN. BS in Information Technology or RN.
• Other: Demonstrated competency with Surgical Information Systems.

Responsibilities
