Job summary

JCPenney in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Part-Time Supervisor to support the management team and deliver a great shopping experience. You will help execute store operations, maintain visual standards, and motivate peers and customers daily.

In this role you will develop your leadership, engage with customers, learn all aspects of the business, and model our values while handling POS tasks and supervisor duties when the Store Manager is absent.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory experience in apparel or retail preferred.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
• Occasional travel to other store locations may be required.

As a Part-Time Supervisor, you will support the management team to create the best experience for our customer and deliver desired results. You also share the responsibility to execute assigned store operations and maintain a visually appealing store. The Part-Time Supervisor reports to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

You will also have:

• Prior supervisory experience in similar volume, apparel business (preferred).
• Proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
• Flexible availability to meet the needs of the business (including evenings and weekends).
• May require occasional travel to other store locations (if needed).

Other Requirements

• Bend, lift, open and move product and fixtures up to 50 lbs., as needed.

Pay Range
