Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a First Shift Integration Supervisor to oversee Final Integration Operations for Terran‑R hardware. You will lead a team of Integration technicians and collaborate with manufacturing engineering, planning, supply chain, and quality teams to keep schedules on track and ensure high quality.

The role demands 5+ years in high‑reliability manufacturing, 2+ years in leadership, and strong GD&T/engineering drawing literacy.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in aerospace, automotive, or other high-reliability manufacturing.
  • 2+ years in leadership supervising production technicians/operators.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly, integration, and testing processes.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, specs, and GD&T.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; holds accountability in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Final Integration Operations on 1st Shift for Terran‑R hardware.
  • Lead and develop a team of Integration technicians.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, planning, supply chain, and QA to boost productivity.
  • Drive production schedules and resolve bottlenecks to meet flight hardware deadlines.
  • Promote safety and continuous improvement aligned with company values.

About The Team

The Manufacturing team owns all process development, fabrication strategy, and production equipment for Terran R, our next generation, reusable rocket. This team has a wide variety of responsibilities – from factory floor layout, to developing complex tooling for novel processes, and interfacing with our vehicle engineering team to heavily influence design of the rocket. We leverage our deep expertise to translate engineering requirements into highly optimized production lines, working cross functionally to consistently enhance the vehicle program.

This will be for our First Shift Supervisor role with the hours from 5:00 AM PST - 3:30 PM PST.

About The Role
  • TheIntegration Supervisorwill oversee Final Integration Operations on 1st Shift, ensuring that Terran-R hardware is produced safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards
  • Lead and develop a team of Integration technicians, driving continuous improvement in their skills and career progression
  • Partner with manufacturing engineering, planning, supply chain, and quality teams to enhance efficiency and boost productivity
  • Drive production schedules, ensuring on-time completion of flight hardware by identifying and resolving any production bottlenecks and maintaining daily production visibility
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives
About You
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments
  • 2+ years of leadership, lead, or supervisory experience overseeing production technicians/operators
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as assembly, integration, and testing
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, specs, and GD&T
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to drive accountability in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves, But Not Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Previous leadership experience in aerospace or space hardware production
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, MES, or digital factory tools
  • Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training/certifications

Hiring Range

$118,000—$178,000 USD
