General Atomics Integrated Intelligence Inc. (GA-Intelligence) is seeking a Software Engineer to lead a tracking team within the Solutions Intelligence Department.

The role blends hands-on Java development with team leadership, Agile execution, and mentoring to deliver mission-critical capabilities. The ideal candidate will design and develop enterprise Java apps for battlefield C2, geospatial data management, and analytics, while coordinating Scrum ceremonies and ensuring delivery commitments

Formación

• Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in computer science, information systems or related discipline with progressive software development experience.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, computer networking, communication protocols, and/or data exchange formats.
• Experience developing Java code in production environments.
• Experience with AWS-hosted environments, Docker containerization and execution through Kubernetes.
• Experience with helm and helmfile deployments in a Kubernetes environment.
• Experience with software development in Linux.
• Experience in technical leadership, day‑to‑day tasking and technical management of others.
• An understanding of formal software engineering principles including design, documentation, ticketing systems, version control and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.

• Work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

GA-Intelligence is seeking a Software Engineer to lead one of our tracking teams within the Solutions Intelligence Department. This position combines hands‑on software development with team leadership, Agile execution, and personnel development in support of the Tracking program. The team lead will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, break down large features and requirements into actionable development tickets, coordinate sprint planning and execution, and track progress toward delivery commitments. The role also includes mentoring software engineers and fostering a collaborative, productive engineering team. The ideal candidate has strong Java development experience, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is motivated to help both software and engineers grow while delivering reliable, mission‑critical capabilities.

Job Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in computer science, information systems or related discipline and progressive software development experience as follows; six or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, four or more years of experience with a masters degree, or two or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, computer networking, communication protocols, and/or data exchange formats.
• Experience developing Java code in production environments.

Job Type: Full-Time Salary
Salary range: 109,500 - 187,875
