Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Supervisor, Security at our Colorado Springs campus to lead security associates, coordinate workloads, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with Walmart policies and regulatory standards. You will manage emergencies, uphold safety protocols, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to keep the workplace secure and efficient.

Qualifications

• 1 year of supervising, evaluating, mentoring and developing employees.
• 1 year in security or related field (CCTV, access control, fire safety, etc.).
• 1 year participating in hiring, promotion and disciplinary actions.

Role summary: The (USA) Supervisor, Security leads and oversees security associates by coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards. This role involves managing emergency responses, maintaining safety protocols, and fostering strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. The supervisor supports continuous improvement of security programs and procedures while promoting a secure environment. By providing guidance, coaching, and operational oversight, this position contributes to safeguarding assets, ensuring regulatory adherence, and delivering a safe and efficient workplace aligned with Walmart's values and business objectives.

The Physical Security team at Walmart Campus is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment through proactive emergency response and comprehensive security management. This team develops and enforces security protocols, conducts threat assessments, and ensures compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. Collaborating with internal partners and external agencies, they provide tactical responses to life safety events and support continuous improvements in security operations. The team upholds integrity and professionalism while protecting associates, assets, and facilities, fostering a secure workplace aligned with Walmart's commitment to safety and operational excellence.

What you’ll bring

• Proven experience supervising teams, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing constructive feedback.
• Strong knowledge of safety, security, and emergency response protocols, including life safety incident management.
• Ability to ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies such as OSHA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and fire codes.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners to promote a secure environment.
• Experience in coaching, training, and onboarding associates to support operational excellence.
• Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and commitment to ethical standards and company values.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to build trust and achieve business objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year's experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees, managing employee workload.
• 1 year's experience in security (for example, fire suppression, guard force, asset protection, regulatory compliance, facility protection, CCTV, access control), law enforcement, Military, emergency services, or related field.
• 1 year's experience participating in the hiring, promotion, and disciplinary actions of employees.
