Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Supervisor, Supply Chain Operations to lead daily warehouse activities and develop a high-performing team. The Day Shift runs Monday - Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, with overtime as needed.

You will supervise operations, train staff, ensure quality, and partner with leadership to optimize throughput while adhering to the GXO 7S program. This role requires 2 years of relevant experience and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and scanning equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
• 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment.
• Warehousing or 3PL experience.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
• 2 years of managerial or supervisory experience
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
• Warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL) experience

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights
• Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Handle or manage tools or equipment
• Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
