Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to provide clinical leadership across Central Georgia locations including Macon and Milledgeville. This role oversees nursing practice, staffing, and coordination of patient care under applicable laws and policies. The Work and Campus Care Solutions team is headquartered in Macon, Georgia, and provides services throughout the Central Georgia market, including locations in Macon, Milledgeville, Fort Valley, Barnesville, Morrow, Warner Robins, and surrounding areas. The Nursing Supervisor will provide clinical leadership and operational support across these locations and will participate in Work and Campus Care events throughout the region.
Work schedules vary based on assigned location and business needs but generally follow Monday through Friday operating hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., including a one-hour lunch period. Occasional travel and participation in onsite events may be required, with event schedules determined by client and operational needs.
Pay Range: $41.10 - $61.65
Work requires walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies. Intact sense of sight, hearing, smell, and touch. Finger dexterity. Critical thinking and ability to concentrate.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN licensure in appropriate state. Minimum two years nursing experience preferred. Previous management experience preferred. BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.BLS required per policy guidelines.Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam. Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.
