Job description

The Supervisor, Radiography directly supervises Nondestructive Test (NDT) staff, ensuring that the requirements of NAS410 and other customer contractual requirements are met. Applies departmental plans, policies, and procedures to accomplish satisfactory completion of departmental assignments. Measures success through tracking and reporting key process indicators (KPI's).

Responsibilities

• Supervises technical operations and ensures compliance with NDT procedures and standards,
  maintaining the quality and efficiency of the facility and its personnel. 40%
• Interprets codes, standards, and contractual documents to ensure NDT methods are compliant and
  consistently applied, resulting in accurate and reliable inspection outcomes. 20%
• Selects appropriate methods and techniques for inspecting ammunition items, ensuring
  compliance with radiographic and other NDT procedures, and verifies their adequacy to maintain
  quality and safety standards. 10%
• Primary interface for customers, auditors, and other facility Visitors to ensure operational
  requirements and compliance standards are met. 10%
• Approves NDT procedures and NDT-related work instructions for technical adequacy, ensuring
  compliance. 10%
• Ensures effective training, examination, and certification of personnel conducting radiographic and
  other NDT inspections, maintaining compliance With industry standards and enhancing team
  competency. 10%
