Job summary

Fresenius Kabi USA, LLC is seeking a supervisor for liquid production to oversee a dedicated area, coordinating scheduling, preparation, Terminally Sterilized filling, and capping.

You will manage daily shifts, ensure safety and quality in a regulated FDA environment, and drive process improvements. Strong communication and leadership are essential for timely product release and continuous optimization.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in life sciences or engineering preferred; work experience may substitute.
• Previous supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication and proofreading skills.
• Detail oriented with proficient computer skills (MS Office).
• Experience in FDA-regulated industry preferred (3–5 years).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily/weekly production schedule based on direction from area production managers.
• Oversee the production processes on the assigned shift, coordinating all relevant activities.
• Coordinate with department management and other functions to support the area.
• Empower personnel to suggest and implement continuous process improvements.
• Complete deviation investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety programs, and cGMPs.
• Coordinate staffing and training for the area; regularly evaluate performance.
• Develop and execute staff training and development programs.
• Provide production data for monthly reports and line efficiency tracking.
• Create, revise and review SOPs.
• Overtime as required.

Job Summary

Responsible for the supervision and coordination of liquid production personnel and processes within an assigned area of responsibility. Control may include but is not limited to; scheduling and organizing component preparation, Terminally Sterilized filling, and capping.

Salary Range: $73,614 - $103,000 Annually + 6% Bonus

Hours: M-F; 10PM-6:30AM

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the execution of the daily/weekly production schedule based upon direction from the area production managers.
• Oversees the production processes on their assigned shift, working on the production floor to coordinate all relevant production activities.
• Interacts with department management and other functional areas to coordinate all support activities relating to their assigned area.
• Empowers assigned personnel to engage in defining and recommending continuous process improvements,
• Completes thorough deviation investigations in a timely fashion, performing detailed root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
• Assures the compliant application of departmental and company policies and procedures, safety programs, standards and cGMP's.
• Coordinates staffing for their assigned area of responsibility and assures personnel training is up to date.
• Develops and executes training and follow-up programs to enhance staff development. Regularly evaluates performance of operations personnel.
• Establishes effective communication methods to provide continuity of information across all operations and shifts.
• Supports product release through the efficient review and completion of production batch records.
• Creates, revises and reviews departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provides production data to managers in support of monthly reports and line efficiency tracking.
• Assumes other duties as assigned by production management.
• Works overtime as required.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in life sciences or engineering discipline preferred (work experience in lieu of a degree is possible)
• Previous supervisory experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Proven oral and written communication and proofreading skills required.
• Detail oriented and proficient computer skills: d Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, and Access preferred.
• Previous experience in an FDA regulated industry preferred (3-5 years).
