Job summary

Kautex Textron Indiana Avilla site is seeking a Supervisor Production for the 1st shift. You will lead a production team, coordinate lines, and ensure standardized work is followed while driving performance and safety.

This role focuses on continuous improvement, KPI tracking, and cross-functional collaboration with Shippin g and Planning. Ideal candidates have a degree in a related field and 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, plus SAP, Kronos, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Organizational Leadership or Operations Management.
• 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• SAP familiarity and utilization experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Kronos timekeeping.
• Experience supervising hourly workforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage employees with training, development, coaching and guidance.
• Coordinate production lines using all people, parts and equipment.
• Create and train standardized work for the team.
• Detect, fix and escalate abnormalities as needed.
• Organize continuous improvement activities in the area.
• Complete EHS, 5S, LPA audits and monitor daily LPA checks.
• Interface between Shipping, Receiving, Logistics and Planning.
• Collect and report KPI data and other required reporting.
• Support trial runs and other projects.
• Ensure best practices are implemented and maintained.
• Ensure equipment is utilized and maintained optimally.

Qualifications

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Degree in relatable field such as Business, Organizational Leadership, Operations Management Engineering, etc.
• 3 years experience in leadership or supervisory position in a manufacturing environment
• SAP familiarity and utilization experience
• Microsoft Office proficiency, Kronos timekeeping software experience
• Previous supervision experience leading and managing hourly workforce
