Job summary

Abbott Rapid Diagnostics is seeking a Supervisor, Process Engineering in Scarborough, Maine. You will lead engineering activities to support manufacturing operations, qualification, and new product introductions, while driving process improvements and CAPA programs across the production floor.

You'll manage a team of engineers, champion Lean Six Sigma, develop SPC and TPM initiatives, and ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and Abbott quality standards.

In this role, you will provide tactical leadership within the Engineering organization, ensuring engineering readiness to support manufacturing operations, production objectives, and product transfer activities. You will lead a team of engineers responsible for driving process improvements, supporting new product and equipment initiatives, and advancing operational excellence across the manufacturing environment.As a key member of the organization, you will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes while representing Engineering in internal and external business meetings. You will also play an important role in maintaining compliance within the company's Quality Management System and supporting continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, productivity, and operational performance.
