Job summary

Mercy Clinic Primary Care – Northwest Family seeks a Supervisor-Physician Practice (Exempt) to oversee day-to-day clinic operations. This full-time role ensures efficient medical office operations and staff coordination under leadership supervision, aligned with Mercy’s mission and service standards.

Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), 1–3 years in healthcare with lead experience, and bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years in healthcare; 5 years preferred; clinical/back-office experience preferred; lead experience preferred.
• Other: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; strong communication and reporting skills; proficient with data input, retrieval and reporting.

Position Details:

Supervisor-Physician Practice (Exempt)

Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Northwest Family

The clinic supervisor performs job responsibilities under the general supervision of the clinic's Practice Manager, providers, and operational leadership. The supervisor's primary responsibility is to supervise the day-to-day operations of the clinic and clinic staff and to perform various office and clinical duties to keep the clinic running efficiently. Planning, directing, and coordinating medical and health services and ensuring the overall business and operations of the medical office are delivered efficiently. Adheres to Mercy's core values and mission with complete regard for the dignity of each person. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience:
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in a healthcare environment required; 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Clinical and/or back-office experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous Lead experience preferred.
• Other Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills are mandatory.
  • Writing skills must be well-developed and sufficient to design comprehensive reports and proposals.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs to that will ensure the development of programs specifications for data input, data retrieval, and report preparation.
  • Ability to concentrate, learn quickly and adapt to frequent procedural changes.
  • Must be adept at performing a wide variety of tasks.
  • Rapid transfer of attention from one assignment to another is necessary.
