Job summary

VF Corporation seeks an Operations Supervisor at the Jonestown Distribution Center. You will oversee replenishment, picking, resolution of issues, and value-added services to meet throughputs and budgets.

Strong leadership, bilingual English/Spanish, and WMS proficiency required. Competitive benefits and a supportive, inclusive culture are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related warehouse experience or equivalent.
• Experience with WMS (PkMS) or similar systems; RF and MHE tech.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations; ability to lead and develop staff.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong communication.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• Supervise replenishment, picking, trouble resolution and VAS.
• Ensure staffing levels and set daily/monthly/yearly goals.
• Provide leadership to ensure top service for internal and external customers.

What will you do?

A day in the life of an Operations Supervisor at VF looks a little like this.

In this position you will beresponsible for the supervision of the accurate and timely operations of replenishment, picking, trouble resolution and Value-Added Services (VAS).

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

• Ensures fiscal responsibility targets are met including budgets and forecasts, cost control and reporting as it relates to labor planning and supplies.
• Assume responsibility of product from replenishment on a wave-by-wave basis through fast pick/shelf picking, trouble resolution and VAS.
• Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for all aspects of the daily/monthly workflow.
• Sets clear and measurable goals for all associates on a daily/monthly/yearly basis.
• Provide supervisory leadership to area associates to ensure outstanding service to internal and external customers.
• Establishes workload priorities and provides clear daily objectives for the area under supervision.
• Create, generate, and analyze DC/LM reports to ensure throughput goals are being met.
• Ensure full compliance with VF policies and procedures.

What do you need to succeed?

While formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 2+ years of related experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

• 2+ years of equivalent warehouse experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
• Experience and proficiency with WMS (PkMS) or other comparable WMS, RF and MHE technologies.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Ability to lead, coach and develop staff to improve performance and achieve goals.
• Ability to balance and prioritize competing demands.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management with confidence and respect.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in core computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both languages.

There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Ability to be flexible and willing to work extended hours including weekends as necessary.
