Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. in Tracy, CA seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to organize and lead daily warehousing operations, including receiving, storage, inventorying, and shipping of goods.

You will plan inbound/outbound schedules, assign staff, monitor productivity, ensure safety, and collaborate with Inventory Control to maintain accuracy. This full-time role offers competitive pay within the stated range, benefits, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and a Wednesday–Sunday night shift:

• Minimum 2 years of warehouse operations management experience in a related industry.
• Experience working in a fast paced environment.
• Computer proficiency is required.
• Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

• Tracks productivity and evaluates performance by individual and department.
• Ensures inventory accuracy with Inventory Control.
• Manages payroll of department.
• Advises employees on handling, storing, and shipping items and related problems.
• Traces item history to resolve discrepancies and determine causes.

Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, and issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in stockroom, warehouse, or yard by performing the following duties.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews inbound appointment log and open order report each day in order to plan work activities.
• Plans inbound and out bound schedules accordingly to meet customer metrics.
• Determine staffing needs based on workload and schedules staff accordingly.
• Assigns workers to specific duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
• Reviews and updates operational procedures assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving
• Tracks productivity and qualifies performance by individual, function, and department.
• Works with Inventory Control to ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy possible.
• Manages payroll of department.
• Advices employees on handling of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
• Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Ensures that proper safety procedures are followed.
• Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises 20+ employees in the area of Operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Pay Range:

$65,000-$70,304*

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
