Job summary

Medical Solutions Direct Hire is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Supervisor in Severn, MD to lead PET/CT imaging in a high-quality outpatient setting. The role requires ARRT certification, BLS, and state licensing as applicable, with leadership experience a plus.

You will work Monday–Friday, 7:30AM–4:00PM, with no call requirements, and enjoy a sign-on bonus along with health, dental, and vision insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (R) and ARRT (CT) required or equivalent licensing is expected.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• State license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (if applicable).
• Graduate of an accredited radiology program or two-year degree.
• Advanced modality certification (if available) preferred.
• Prior leadership or team management experience preferred for Supervisor role.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and PET/CT imaging techniques.
• Knowledge of state and federal health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency with RIS, PACS, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, initiative, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or perform advanced PET/CT imaging services in a high-quality outpatient imaging environment.
• Operate GE Discovery PET/CT system with proficiency.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure proper patient preparation, safety, and comfort.
• Maintain proficiency in RIS, PACS, and imaging systems.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and established safety standards.
• Provide feedback to the Imaging Center Manager (ICM) regarding hiring and team performance.
• Monitor performance, document evaluations, and provide coaching and development.
• Promote staff retention and maintain a stable, engaged team.

Position Overview

• Lead and/or perform advanced PET/CT imaging services in a high-quality outpatient imaging environment
• GE Discovery PET/CT system
• Work independently while attached to a respected Baltimore Medical Center

This opportunity offers the chance to step into either a senior technologist or supervisory role within a stable imaging center environment focused on excellence, accountability, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Set clear expectations and objectives for team members
• Delegate responsibilities appropriately and ensure follow-through
• Support operational initiatives and act on behalf of the ICM when needed
• Promote flexibility, collaboration, and cross-team support
• Demonstrate sound judgment and professionalism under pressure

Requirements
