Responsibilities

• Oversee MRI operations and patient flow in the acute care setting.
• Train and supervise MRI technologists and support staff.
• Ensure MRI safety procedures and regulatory compliance are followed.
• Coordinate workload and maintain high quality imaging.
• Collaborate with radiology leadership to improve imaging services.

• Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.
  • Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of three years of experience in MR, required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in supervision, required.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
  • Applicable state license, required.
  • Magnetic Resonance Safety Certified by ABMRS – MRSO (MRSC), preferred.
  • IV Credentialed, preferred.

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Through knowledge of MRI safety, MRI procedures, MRI regulatory, as well as state and federal regulations (i.e. Medicare, HIPPA, etc.) related to operations.
  • Analytical ability and excellent computer skills required.
