Veeco Instruments Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations in the United States to lead the VFT production team.

The Supervisor, Manufacturing Operations will work closely with the Director, Manufacturing Operations to establish a high-quality continuous improvement culture, implement value stream mapping and lean principles, and focus on problem solving using tools such as 8D. The successful candidate will manage multiple complex priorities simultaneously with a “hands on” style. The candidate must exemplify true leadership in developing his/her subassembly manufacturing line team to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives, and, in general, build credibility in Veeco and Veeco’s culture.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Manufacturing Operations, or a related technical discipline preferred. 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with a demonstrated track record of driving operational excellence and team performance.
Proven success leading, coaching, and developing teams of technicians, assemblers, and production personnel in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Strong background in electromechanical manufacturing, including assembly, testing, process improvement, and production support.
Experience operating within highly regulated manufacturing environments, such as Semiconductor, aerospace, defense, automotive, or other quality-driven industries.
The expected salary range for this position is $76,094.00 - 96,386.00, plus a bonus opportunity. We will consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors when determining your pay.
