Job summary

RoslinCT is seeking a Supervisor of Manufacturing to lead the cell processing team and oversee documentation, quality systems, and regulatory compliance. You will drive process improvements, manage cross-functional interactions, and develop staff to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include enforcing SOPs, completing batch records, and minimizing waste while maintaining cGMP standards and quality.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED equivalent; some college preferred.
• 4-8 years' experience in a bio-pharma environment.
• Extensive experience in a cGMP environment relevant to pharma.
• Strong business acumen and process improvement knowledge.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Hands-on problem solver with contingency planning.

• Investigation and troubleshooting of equipment and the process.
• Coordinate with support departments for scheduling services.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Develop processes to support staff and growth.
• Maintain CFRs, cGMPs, SOPs and company policies.
• Ensure cGMP compliance and quality standards.
• Minimize manufacturing costs through efficient use of resources.
• Supervise manufacturing activities and assign projects.
• Improve safety and housekeeping; ensure staff training and development.
• Other duties as assigned.

ACCELERATING YOUR FUTURE

The Supervisor of Manufacturing is responsible for leadership and oversight of the manufacturing cell processing team.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Ensure SOPs, batch records and completed documentation are accurate and up to date. This includes timely review of documents and coordination with other organizations to ensure accurate and complete documentation
• Investigation and troubleshooting of equipment and the process
• Interact with various support departments to assist with scheduling of services performed in the plant
• Identification and implementation of process improvements
• Development of processes that will support staff and department evaluation and growth
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with requirements including but not limited to CFR's, cGMPs, SOPs, and company policies
• Ensure cGMP compliance and maintain quality standards for all manufacturing activities
• Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital
• Supervise manufacturing activities, assign projects to appropriate teams and provide direction to solve complex manufacturing technical issues
• Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes. Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas
• Selection, training, supervision (performance appraisals) and development of team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience working in a cGMP environment, relevant to the pharmaceutical industry required.
• Strong business acumen and working knowledge of process control and improvement tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and communicate complex issues and concepts enterprise-wide, from the executive team to the manufacturing floor
• Problem solver with a hands-on approach and ability to anticipate adverse scenarios and provide contingency plans to address them
• Strong technical/computer abilities

Final compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, technical expertise, specialized skill sets, market demand, internal equity, and business needs.
