Job summary

Envoy Air Inc. is seeking a Supervisor, Maintenance Tower Operations in the United States to plan, coordinate and direct maintenance activities, working with Crew Chiefs and Maintenance Supervisors to ensure safe, on-time departures across the station.

The role requires an A&P license, a high school diploma, 2+ years in aircraft maintenance and 1+ year in supervision, plus proficiency with MS Office, FARs knowledge and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • Must currently have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or be able to obtain one within 14 days.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum two (2) years in aircraft maintenance.
  • Minimum one (1) year supervisory experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of Federal Air Regulations (FARs).
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States.
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language.
  • College degree or equivalent amount of work experience preferred.
  • Experience creating and maintaining departmental budgets preferred.
  • Working knowledge of labor contracts preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and control maintenance operations in the tower.
  • Monitor daily scheduled maintenance items to ensure tasks are completed before last departures.
  • Review and assist the Operations with coding delays.
  • Provide detailed information to Hub Operations for informed decisions on delays.
  • Remain aware of aircraft going to the hangar to minimize taxi time.
  • Ensure activities comply with Company policies, FARs, maintenance programs and regulations; support Crew Chiefs and Mechanics.
  • Prioritize tasks and collaborate across departments; attention to detail and troubleshooting.

How will you make an impact?


Responsibilities


  • The Supervisor, Maintenance Tower Operations is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and controlling maintenance operations in the tower including communication to Crew Chiefs and Maintenance Supervisors

  • Monitor daily scheduled maintenance items to make sure tasks are accomplished prior to the last departure of flight out of the station
  • Review and assist the Operation with coding delays
  • Provide detailed information to the Hub Operations so necessary business decisions can be madein regards todelays
  • Remain aware of all aircraft goingto the hangar in order to minimize the taxi time
  • Ensure activities are accomplished in accordance with Company policies, FAR's, Company and OEM maintenance programs and other governmental regulations. Provide support to CrewChiefs and Mechanics as needed

  • In this role, the Supervisor must have attention to detail and troubleshoot effectively
  • The ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively across function departments is critical
