Job summary

Energy Transfer LP, based in Texas, seeks an Operations Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient operation of pipeline systems in the Odessa area. The role includes adherence to budgets, policy enforcement, and guiding cross-functional teams to meet production targets.

Responsibilities include evaluating performance, managing capital budgets, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with shared services to optimize department performance.

Qualifications

• Broad and varied experience in the maintenance and operations of pipelines.
• Able to manage in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while handling multiple activities.
• Strong technical, operational, administrative, and maintenance judgment and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to manage large numbers of employees.
• HS Diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of crude terminal operations experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

• Monitor the administration of company policy and standard operating procedures.
• Evaluate employee performance and goal achievement.
• Responsible for reviewing and implementing the expense and capital budgets.
• Provide guidance to resolve operational problems as required.
• Collaborate with shared service departments to ensure uniformity across business areas.
• Support capital projects through project commissioning activities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, and company policy.

The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for the overall safe and efficient operation of all pipeline systems that support the Ector County, Crane, TX area and Field Operations. This position will adhere to all Partnership policies and procedures and operate within the budget set forth annually by the Partnership. This position is based in Odessa, Texas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations to achieve production targets and track operational data to reduce issues and downtime.

Special Considerations

• This position will be responsible for supporting the hiring and staffing process
• Position subject to being on call 24 hours, 7 days per week.
• Ability to respond to emergencies as required.Position is subject to travel throughout Texas.

• Usually, normal office working conditions.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledgeable about regulatory guidelines from government agencies and the Incident Command System for emergency response.
• Previous experience as Incident Commander.
• Relative pipeline and tank terminal experience.
• Experience in staffing and hiring field teams.
