Job summary

RXO, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor for Last Mile Operations in Bradenton, FL to lead a team during a 5am-2pm shift. You will assign tasks, train associates, ensure tool availability, enforce safety, and manage inventory while driving productivity and quality.

The role emphasizes leadership, analytical skills, and strong communication as you mentor staff and optimize operations within RXO's logistics network.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation; Microsoft Office proficiency
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and solid analytical ability
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, procedures and housekeeping requirements
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials and supplies
• Oversee equipment usage and enforce safety procedures and programs
• Manage inventory, including levels and reconciliation
• Assist with solving problems to maximize associate productivity and correct substandard performance

Supervisor, Last Mile Operations

at RXO, you will inspire your associates to achieve maximum productivity, exhibit professionalism and strive to be error free.

Schedule: 5am-2pm; Wednesday & Thursday off

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures; guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials and supplies
• Oversee the usage of equipment and ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs
• Manage inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation
• Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity; take necessary action to correct substandard performance

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation
  Experience with Microsoft Office
  It’d be great if you also have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and solid analytical ability
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
