Job summary

RXO is seeking a Supervisor, Last Mile Operations to lead a team of associates in our Avondale facility. You will assign work, coach staff, monitor safety, and ensure efficient use of tools and materials to meet daily goals.

The role requires at least 2 years in supervision and 5 years in logistics/transportation, with strong communication and math skills. This is a daytime, Monday–Friday shift, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and system-wide efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong math skills and solid analytical ability.

Responsibilities

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities.
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, procedures; guide team in housekeeping.
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials and supplies.
• Oversee equipment usage and safety program adherence.
• Manage inventory levels and perform merchandise reconciliation.
• Assist with resolving problems to maximize associate productivity.

As the Supervisor, Last Mile Operations at RXO, you will inspire your associates to achieve maximum productivity, exhibit professionalism and strive to be error free.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Assign work activities and monitor group activities
• Instruct associates in proper equipment, operational and maintenance procedures; guide team in understanding housekeeping requirements
• Monitor and maintain availability of tools, materials and supplies
• Oversee the usage of equipment and ensure team adherence to all safety procedures and programs
• Manage inventory, including monitoring levels and performing merchandise reconciliation
• Assist with resolving problems to ensure maximum associate productivity; take necessary action to correct substandard performance

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
• 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation
  Experience with Microsoft Office
  It'd be great if you also have:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong math skills and solid analytical ability
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
